Scott Butler

With over 35 years of architecture industry experience in senior leadership roles, Scott brings a broad perspective of applied experience to his Management Consultant role at CVG. His experience has included all aspects of practice management in leadership, operations, marketing, and project delivery. He has served as President and CEO for A+E firms EYP and CUH2A, and as Director of International Operations and Business Development Director for HDR/CUH2A. In addition, Scott’s experience has spanned the industry in markets (health, science, education, commercial), locations (US and international), and company sizes (startup to 500 people.).

Scott knows the challenges and pressures practice leaders confront every day. He is passionate about partnering with practicing architects in their ownership and leadership roles to realize the financial benefits of their design excellence, commitment to clients, and hard work. Some of Scott’s relevant experience includes leading multiple company turnarounds in profit and growth, leading both seller and buyer teams in acquisitions, facilitating and executing strategic plans, and guiding legacy owners through ownership transition. He is most passionate about his work boosting staff morale by establishing mission-driven, people-first workplace cultures.

Scott feels strongly that any challenge is best solved by facilitating open, forthright conversations that make sure all ideas are surfaced, all voices are heard, and all people have the opportunity to influence the decisions driving solutions and plans taken forward.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from the Pennsylvania State University. He is based in Doylestown, PA.
