R.E. Dinneen Architects and Planners (REDAP) was approaching their 38th year in business when the principals began the rebranding process. This established Boston firm is now led by a new generation of three firm owners who were ready for a new look.

A new era.

REDAP had evolved significantly over the past few years. What once was a traditional, old-world architecture firm has benefited from new leadership and staff who bring freshness and vitality to the studio. Whereas the traditional values of excellence and client service remain, this is a new era for the firm. The firm focuses on BioPharma, Life Sciences and related highly specialized design. Being at the vanguard of design and technology is critical to their reputation and design process.

The new brand needed to embrace expertise, dependability, and professionalism while reflecting the studio's warm, approachable, and progressive environment.

VIVO experienced 25% growth in projects received since the rebrand, with many of New England’s prominent biotech corporations joining their clientele.

Name and Brand

In music, in VIVO means with life and vigor. In life science, it means taking place in a living organism. To the firm, it represents the life and movement they find in the iterative design process, the ongoing evolution and growth of the firm, and a reminder that they create useful spaces for people at the forefront of discovery and innovation - improving life for all.

The tagline “Bringing Design to Life” emphasizes this symbiotic relationship.

Website

The new website captures VIVO’s specialization in life sciences without limiting it to one specific niche. The design vibe is punchy and sophisticated, reflecting a fresh energy backed by decades of experience.

You have been great partners in our journey of self-discovery, and absolutely instrumental in helping us find a name and a brand that reflects who we are both as individuals and as a company.

Your experience in helping architecture companies of similar size to ours was evident in both the clarity of the process, and the results that process achieved.”
