CVG is Partnering with Grateful: A New Tool for Charitable Giving
CVG is proud to support the new platform, Grateful, a digital tool for charitable giving. Through virtual giving cards called Grateful Cards™, individuals and businesses can direct donations to different nonprofit organizations and causes in need. The app helps users connect to more than 1.5 million 501(c)(3) charities. The charities range from children’s organizations to disaster relief to animal welfare and many more.
Grateful embodies the saying, “We rise by lifting others.” This values-based company was founded in 2021 by CVG’s Founder, Matt Ostanik, AIA, in an effort to streamline and encourage personalized charitable donations by corporations and their employees.
In keeping with CVG’s core values – which include kindness and nurturing community – our company has committed to giving all employees a $50 Grateful Card™ on their birthday and we will match a percentage of annual bonuses with a Grateful Card™. New clients receive a $100 Grateful Card™. All cards can be used to donate to the charities of the recipient’s choice.
How Grateful Works:
A Grateful Card™ is a meaningful and unique way to say thank you to someone or express gratitude by connecting the recipient to charities they could support. The recipient will receive an invitation to access your Grateful Card™ online via the Grateful website or mobile app. The app curates nonprofits based on your interests and location.
In just a few swipes, an individual or business can contribute to a cause of choice. First, log in and view the different categories of nonprofits, from arts and culture to public service and military. Then, you can narrow your focus within that category. For example, under public service and military, you can browse through sub-categories like firefighters and veterans. Lastly, select the donation amount of your choice. Voilà! You’ve helped a cause in need.
