Valerie Puchades, FSMPS, CPSM
Valerie is a strategist at heart. She has over 20 years of experience helping A/E/C firms set goals and develop holistic plans to reach new business heights. A natural fit for the CVG team, Valerie finds joy in leading firms in discovering the interconnectedness of marketing, operations, financial management, and human resources.
Valerie is a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM). She is an active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and was awarded Fellowship in 2024. In 2018-2019 she served as President of SMPS Boston and was the recipient of the SMPS Striving for Excellence Grand Prize award for Best Chapter. In 2021 she was named Marketer of the Year, SMPS Boston's highest honor. Valerie serves on the National SMPS Chapter Leadership Symposium (CLS) Committee as Co-chair. CLS is a three-day annual symposium for incoming chapter presidents. In her role, she helps attendees build their leadership skills and ensure they have the right tools and knowledge to lead their chapters.
Valerie received an MA in Integrated Marketing Communication from Emerson College and a BS in Marketing from SUNY Oswego. After spending 25 years in Boston, Valerie can be found exploring the Finger Lakes from her new home base in Canandaigua, NY where she lives in a 19th-century home designed by renowned Rochester, NY, architect J. Foster Warner.
